In terms of depression, regular relaxing and soothing reflexology routines on both hands can help you to feel better overall. Spend extra time on the brain and pituitary gland reflexes, since they are important for regulating chemical imbalances.
Starting at the tip of the thumb pad, thumb roll horizontally across the surface until you have reflexed the entire pad. Reflex for several minutes, and repeat on the other hand.
Working both hands at the same time, simultaneously place the tips of the index fingers at the center of the thumb pads, at the reflex points for the pituitary gland. Hold and rotate for one minute.
Squeeze the tip of your index finger with the tip of your thumb, working both hands simultaneously if you wish. Hold gently for a minute, then repeat for the other fingers.
