Creating a new Uno Platform app

With Uno Platform installed on your IDE, it's now time to create your first Uno Platform application.

The exact steps and UI will be slightly different based on whether you're following along in Visual Studio, Rider, or Visual Studio Code, but once you're into the Uno Platform App wizard, the steps should be recognizable for all three environments.

Start by creating a new solution with a single Uno Platform App project, as shown in Figure 7 .2 :

Next, we'll configure our project as shown in Figure 7 .3 . Note that you may need to check the Place solution and project in the same directory checkbox to satisfy Uno.

Unlike other project types, this will not immediately create your new project. Instead, it will launch the Uno Platform configuration wizard, which allows you to select the Uno Platform features you want to include in your application.
