I believe the easiest way to remember the address ranges and routes is to remember the entire string. Use the acronym to jog your memory and then say C = Canton St. = 101 - 190A - 299C. Close your eyes for a second and visualize the street, numbers and routes. With the acronym CARUS and visualization, you should be able to remember this short list in the time offered especially if you use all of the study periods, as recommended, to your advantage.

Many who take the exam try to streamline the amount of information to memorize even further by abbreviating the street names. Recall our discussion earlier when you had several street names with different spellings such as “Amherst” and “Amhurst.” The actual exam will also include different designators and instead of using “Sutton Way” on a question it may read “Sutton Terrace.” Therefore, if you only remembered “Sut” or “Sutton” you would not know what the correct answer was for that question.
