God, you are love

God, you are kind and patient

Rich towards me always

All I can say is, “Thank you!”

Thank you for your love

Thank you for grace

Thank you for your kindness towards me

I scooped you up into my arms

Wrapped tightly around your unsettled legs

Soft and fragile your new wool is clean and fresh

Cuddling your little body we are together always

You graze out to pasture

Wandering around into deeper patches of grass

You lose your way back to the fold
