Chewing Saliva Chi Kung Part 2

This Chi Kung is aimed at filling the stomach with chi, and this will lead us into a Chi Kung practice that shrinks the stomach. This exercise can be done without eating any food at the same time, just chewing to create saliva and working on the saliva—“eating the universe.” Or it can be done while eating a small amount, as in the previous exercise, “Chewing Saliva Chi Kung with Peanuts and Walnuts.”

1. Take a moment to be aware of your sexual energy; this can be helped by also doing Testicle or Ovarian Breathing (as detailed in our book Basic Practices of the Universal Healing Tao, pages 58–60 and 83–85; see “Recommended Reading” at the back of this book). When you do this for a while, energy goes up to the brain.

2. Activate your nipples, be aware of your glands: pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, hypothalamus, thalamus, parathymus, thymus, and pineal. They are all connected to the saliva glands (see fig. 4.15 below).

As you chew and stimulate the sexual organs, sexual hormones come up and you start to receive chi from the universe. This attracts even more chi, which stimulates your hormone system. In this case it is the chewing that is the beginning of the cycle. You can also use the Nine Flowers Gland Massage (as detailed on page 35 of Golden Elixir Chi Kung) to mix the food and saliva with sexual hormones, with or without eating at the same time.
