Stretching my limbs the next morning, I could feel the ache in my muscles from last night. I could feel Xavier behind me. His large arm wrapped around my middle tightly. I rolled over gently and was surprised to see him awake and watching me.

“Morning,” I told him timidly, feeling rather shy after night.

“Good morning, Sophia. Slept well?”

“Yes, thank you. Shouldn’t you be at work?” I replied with curiosity, not that I wanted him to go, but a guy as busy as Xavier must be needed at work twenty-four seven.

“I’m taking the morning off. Aren’t you going to give me a morning kiss?”

I leaned forward instantly and pressed my lips against his full ones; my body was no longer asleep. Xavier reached down and pulled my thigh over his waist, so I was straddling him. He bit my lip, and I opened up for him instantly, Xavier dominating the kiss as per usual. He moved away from my lips and started sucking on my neck, making me moan with pleasure.

“Come away with me,” Xavier mumbled against my neck.

I pulled away at once and grabbed his face to make him look at me, “What?”

“I want you to come to Greece with me. I have business there, and I don’t want to leave you behind,” Xavier revealed, his hands moving around to squeeze and rub my ass.

“What? When? Xavier, I can’t afford a trip right now and what about my work? I already had a holiday and then time off when I had the crash,” I explained.

“Who said anything about you paying? I will ring your work and get you a time off. You can work from Greece, anyway, when I’m out at meetings. I leave tomorrow night and won’t return until the Wednesday.”

“I can’t let you pay for me. You pay for too much already. You can’t ring my work, either, Xavier. I’m an adult! If you’re going to be at meetings, what is the point in me going, anyway?” I told him, getting frustrated that he always thought things were so simple. And tomorrow? That didn‘t leave much time. However, I hated the fact that he would be leaving for three days.

“I will be paying. I will always pay for everything when you are with me. I offered to ring your work because I have a persuasive quality, and I want you to go because I won’t always be working. We can do many things while we are there. I don’t want to leave you here, where I can’t touch and see you every day,” Xavier admitted. He sounded like he desperately wanted me to go.

“I’ll speak to my boss later today, and if she doesn't allow the time off, then I don’t want to hear any more about it,” I told him sternly, making it clear that I wasn’t going to argue about it further if I couldn’t get the time off.

“We’ll see. Interested in breakfast in bed?” Xavier asked with a smirk.

“What? Like pancakes?” I replied.

“I was thinking less along the lines of food but more about…” Xavier started then trailed off.
