“This is disgusting!” Milly gags. We are the first two who were nominated to clean up the men’s restroom. “Do they not know that they’re supposed to aim inside the bowl, not on the tile surrounding it? None of them were raised in a barn for Christ’s sake!”

“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think they all came in here last night and did this shit on purpose.” I have my shirt raised up over my nose, trying not to breath in the ammonia smell that is ever so present. “I’m gonna pay them all back tenfold,” I growl out.

“Oh, agreed!” Milly chimes in. “Why is it we were the first ones to get this job?”

“Because according to the women, I was the ringleader in getting us in trouble, so I should have the worst job first.”

“And what about me? Why am I being forced into this too?”

“Didn’t you know, you’re my trusty sidekick,” I jokingly reply.

“I didn’t realize I was Robin to your Batman,” she sassily responds.

“Monday through Sunday,” I banter back.

“In my opinion, Robin deserved the spotlight more than Batman,” she says through a gag.

“I have no problem leaving you to be the star of the shower if you’d like me to leave,” I say this with the most serious face I can muster.

“You leave and I’ll lasso your ass and tie you to that commode you’re cleaning!” she hollers in outrage at me.

“Then you’re good staying the trusty sidekick?” I can’t help but ask, because—well, I’m a stubborn bitch like that.

“You’re a pain in the ass,” she seethes.

“Yes. Yes, I am, but then again, so are you,” I accuse her.

“Done scrubbing this one, all mighty leader, what should I do next?” The feistiness in her voice causes me to bellow out in laughter. To the point that I have tears streaming down my cheeks.

“I-I’m almost done here. Why don’t you start on the sink next and once I’m done, I’ll start on the floors.” I’ll give her the easier job. Especially since I feel guilty that she was nominated to be my partner.

“Sounds good, the floors are ten times worse than the sink and counter top,” she replies. But then I hear a screech. “Son-of-a-bitch! There’s a used condom on the counter! Fucking hell, one of the girls is going to catch hell from me once I figure out who was a party to this!” Rushing over to her side, abandoning the toilet I was scrubbing, I see that sure enough there is a used condom laying right there in plain sight.

“How do we get rid of it without actually touching it?” I whisper in repugnance.

“Hmm…I’ve got an idea. I’ll be right back.” I go back over to finish my job, curious about what she’s up to. I’m finished with my job and have started sweeping the floor when she comes back in holding a pair of pliers.

“Where did you get those?” I have a pretty good idea, but I want her to confirm it.

“Got ‘em out of the garage.
