The North and South Rims of the Grand Canyon are only 10 miles apart but it takes approximately 5 hours to drive between the two points.

The Grand Canyon is frequently included among the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World.”

It is estimated that there are over 1,000 caves hidden within the Grand Canyon. Only one is open to the public.

Grand Canyon is the second most visited national park in the United States.

The Grand Canyon is home to condors, snakes, and the Gila Monster. But the Rock Squirrel is perhaps the most dangerous! Every year dozens of visitors are bitten trying to feed them (you should never feed wild animals).
