Otter climbed up the tree.

“Give me the bird, Owl,” said Otter.

Owl reached up high.

He handed the baby bird to Otter.

Otter put the baby bird in the nest.

Then he tried to climb back down.

Thump! Plop! Boom!

Otter fell to the ground.

“Oh, Otter!” cried Owl.

“Are you all right?”

“I’ll be okay,” said Otter.

“Together we helped the baby bird.”

“Yes, we did,” said Owl.

Otter and Owl hiked some more.

Soon they heard another noise.

“Look over there!” said Owl.

Otter saw a deer caught in a bush.

“Let’s help the deer,” said Otter.
