Gumball approached Tina, who was standing in line to get some Salisbury steak from the lunch lady.

“Hey, Tina,” said Gumball. “Or should I say, ‘Hey, TINY!’”

Tina’s eyes narrowed, and she swung her huge head around to glare at Gumball. Her teeth separated and a massive glob of drool ran down her chin and landed with a plop! on Gumball’s head. “What did you call me?” she growled.

Gumball was terrified. His knees were shaking and he couldn't speak. He suddenly realized that the only thing giant about him was the error he’d just made.

“Um, I was just saying ‘Hi, Tina,’ but I must have jumbled the words together and it sounded like I called you Tiny,” said Gumball, trying to cover up his mistake. Tina couldn’t be fooled. She narrowed her eyes, lifted her gigantic foot, and stepped on him.

“So do you still think you’re a giant?” asked Darwin, helping Gumball up from the lunchroom floor.

“No,” said Gumball, his head hanging low. “I guess I’m more of a shrimp.”

“You’re not a shrimp,” said Darwin. “You just haven’t grown up yet.”

“I don’t know,” said Gumball. “Everything around me seems either too big or too small.”

“You’re the perfect size for who you are, and I wouldn’t want you to be any different.”

Gumball smiled. “Thanks, buddy. You really know how to make things better.”

“Anytime,” said Darwin.

“But we still haven’t figured out why we live in the smallest house in Elmore!” said Gumball.

“Oh,” said Darwin, his face falling. “We’re still doing that?”

“Yes!” shouted Gumball.
