To format existing text as small caps or all caps:

Select the text to which you want to add the text effect.

Press Ctrl+D or click the Font group button on the Home tab.

Select the Small Caps or All Caps checkbox in the Font dialog box to turn on the text effect and then click OK.

Adding Text Colors

Select the text or item to modify.

Choose Home, then use the Text Color Options button to select the color.

Clicking the Text Color button without using the Options button applies the default or last used color.
