âWhen you get more fulfillment simply by giving, when that is the ultimate joy, then youâll know, Andi. Thatâs when youâve found love.â
Andi swept a strand of hair out of Billieâs eyes. She could say the words, âI love you,â over and over and it would remain inadequate. Instead, she lowered her lips to Billieâs, delighting in the hint of what Billie called hoppiness that lingered from Billieâs beer. It was uniquely Billie. Andiâs tongue danced with Billieâs as her hand began to slip lower, descending to Billieâs breast, cupping its weight; the tip of her finger grazing the tip of Billieâs nipple lightly before pinching gently.
Billie moaned into Andiâs mouth. How could she feel hot and still be shivering? It reminded her of battling a fever. Her body burned, her heart thrummed in her chest forcefully, and yet she felt herself shiver. She struggled to breathe. She opened her mouth to speak but two fingers pressed to her lips before any words could pass them.
Andi felt Billieâs shudder. She kissed Billie softly. âShh,â she cooed. âI know.â She placed her lips against Billieâs forehead lovingly. âLet go.â
Billieâs hands trembled as they attempted to grip Andiâs waist. Andiâs mouth claimed hers passionately for a brief moment. Billie could feel Andiâs breasts gliding against hers. It was perfect. Billieâs head rolled to the side, and Andi bit gently on the exposed flesh. Billie sighed. Andiâs touch was tender and insistent at the same time. For the first time in her life, Billie had no desire to resist the sensual assault of flesh against flesh. Andi wanted her. Andi didnât want to take her; she wanted Billie to, âlet go.â And, Billie wanted to. More than she wanted to give pleasure to Andi, she desired to submit herself to Andi fully, to allow Andi to wrap her heart and her body in all that Andi was offering. She would let herself go and trust that on the other side of physical ecstasy she would finally find releaseâthe release of long-held fears and insecurity.
Curves and dips, long expanses of supple flesh quivered beneath Andiâs fingers. She watched in rapt fascination as Billieâs lips parted. Her mouth surrounded Billieâs nipple faintly at first. She teased and tasted the peach flesh with the tip of her tongue, enjoying the gasps and gulps of desperation that escaped the back of Billieâs throat. Had she ever seen anything as magnificent? Billie. It perplexed Andi; the notion that Billie could not see how beautiful she was. Andiâs heart sputtered erratically. Longing stole the air from her lungs. Billieâs body quivered beneath hers. She felt Billie begin to go rigid, as if she needed to flee. Andi pressed her weight against Billie and lifted herself to look into Billieâs eyes. âStay with me,â she requested, lowering her hand to explore Billieâs arousal.
Billie gasped and tensed.
âBillie,â Andi called lovingly. âLook at me.â
Billieâs eyes met Andiâs. Andi offered her a sweet smile of understanding, silently conveying the promise that Billie was safe.
