Distracted by my thoughts as I leave the bathroom by the entryway, I don't notice Eve coming from the front door. Before I can think too much about the fact that we all thought she was upstairs, she runs head-first into my chest.

"Shit, sweetheart, are you okay?" I grip one of her elbows as she rubs her pointy nose in pain. When her eyes clash with mine, I'm shocked to see them dilate. I watch in fascination as she studies my face and piercings.

"Evelyn?" I try to coax her out of her head, hoping to get some answers as to where she's been. A slight gasp leaves her pink lips when her eyes dip to my mouth. When I catch sight of her eyes again, I notice her pupils are blown wide.

Absolutely fucking shocked at the lust, I see burning in her gaze, I look her over. I've been so focused on making sure she was okay that it didn't register what she was wearing. She's in nothing besides a long hoodie, her lean legs on display with water droplets clinging to some of the scar tissue I find at a glance.

Dragging my gaze up her body, I notice the moisture dripping down her neck as well. Her black hair is in need of a good brushing and towel. In all honestly, the wet look she's sporting is absolutely sinful.

Biting my lip, I swallow the groan that threatens to spill at the sexual tension building in the hallway. I'm about to embarrass myself if she notices the tent in my grey sweats. I take a step back, putting more than just a few inches between us. I cough, hoping to clear my throat of all the dirty things I could say.

Damnit. She just had a huge breakdown a little over an hour ago, and here I am fucking daydreaming about licking away the droplets on her neck. Wondering what kind of sounds she would make at the swipe of my tongue. Mm, would she shiver when the ball on my tongue flicks her earlobe? I bite my lip a little harder and tug on my lip ring, bringing myself back from my inappropriate...sexy thoughts.

"Evie, are you okay?" My voice comes out sounding gruff. Thankfully the added distance is helping to clear the fog in my head. Both heads.

A tiny squeak frees itself from her mouth, "Um, yes. I'm okay," She starts inching herself around me.

I've seen Korren push the limits we all think she needs. Grabbing and crowding her, we have all seen his dominance entice her. From what I've seen, she's relaxed and comfortable around Korren because of it. I'm not going to guess at their relationship, but from observing how he's gained her trust...I'm wondering if Eve needs to be pushed. We have allowed her to zone out for the past few days, Korren is right; she's only getting worse. We have all seen the fire in her that’s only aimed at Nol. Seeing her comfortable around Kor and Nolan has me thinking I need to change it up.
