By the time morning rolled around, I’d lost track of how many times I’d made love to Marcella. She was nearly insatiable, which she explained when we were done with our second round of the morning and just before we smelled Bettie cooking breakfast for us.

“I’m sore as hell now and I thank you for that, Oliver. I needed last night, and this morning.” She rolled out of bed and walked to her bathroom while I watched, my dick worn out but twitching at the sight of her incredible body. “Go tell Bettie that I’ll be ready for breakfast in about twenty minutes.” She closed the bathroom door so I assumed she was going to get ready for work and I was dismissed. Which was fine with me. Sort of.

I pulled on my pants and walked into the kitchen with my tail between my legs and steeled against Bettie’s reaction to my having spent the night with her roommate, but I didn’t need to worry–she gave me a big smile and a warm hug and kiss as soon as she saw me.

“Did you have fun?” she asked without a trace of anger or even irony. I wasn’t sure how she did it but I found myself hugely relieved that she did.

“It was good,” I said to come off as neutral as possible. She shot me a look that told me it wasn’t going to work.

“Oh, you can do better than that, Oliver,” she almost scolded me as she stood at the range cooking bacon and pancakes. “Come on, tell me what it was like for you.”

“Really? You won’t get upset?” I was still coming around to the idea that Bettie wouldn’t be jealous. Old habits die hard–what can I tell you?

She turned away from the stove and wiped her hands on a dish towel. “Oliver, sit down and listen to me, okay?” I did and she sat next to me with her hands out for me to hold them, which I did. “I need you to understand. I love Marcella. I love her almost more than anything in the world. Someday, I’ll explain why but for now just understand that she means so much to me it’s almost frightening. So if I can share my boyfriend with her and make her happy, it’s a dream come true for me. A privilege, really. Do you get what I’m trying to tell you? Do you?”

She stared at me without smiling and I thought she might start crying at any moment but she didn’t. She just stared at me. “Okay, yeah. I get it.”

“Really?”

“Really.” I smiled and she smiled back. “It’s just all so new for me, Bettie.”

“Yeah, I get that. But I need you to know that it’s never going to change for me. I’m never going to feel something that I’ve never, ever felt before, so stop worrying about it, okay?” She leaned forward and kissed my hands, one after the other. “And it doesn’t mean that I don’t love you, Oliver, because I do love you.
