When Blake got to the office in the morning, the first thing he did was drop into the lab to check out the rats with colon and pancreatic cancer. George gave him a thumbs up.

“Results?” Blake asked

“It looks like the colon cancer tumors are shrinking. Some of the smallest ones have already disappeared. The pancreatic cancer hasn’t responded yet. Those rats may need an increased dose. I’ll be starting the sarcoma group on therapy today.”

“Good. Even if we only identify two responsive cancers, we’ll be in a great position for extra funding. Let’s start a breast and ovarian cancer group as well.”

“You got it, boss.”

“I’ll be at my desk if you need me”
