Sage pulled Meadow close to her as they walked through the forest. It was late, and it was the perfect time to go for a pack run. This run was just for those needing to stretch out their animal legs and let them run loose. Each month, the pack did one run with the alpha and the enforcers. Other runs were organized for anyone who wanted to get out and socialize their animals.

“I just want you to know that I wasn’t trying to pressure you or anything,” Meadow said as they made it close to the meeting destination.

She stopped and pulled Meadow to face her. The thick woods provided them privacy. With her shifter vision, she could see the apprehension on Meadow’s face. She smiled as she reached up a hand and cupped Meadow’s jaw. Their bodies automatically moved closer to each other. She traced Meadow’s jawline with her finger, tipping her chin up to where she could look down into her mate’s eyes.

“Mate,” her animal whispered.

She smiled, because deep in her heart she knew it to be true. Meadow was the only person in the world that made her heart race, made her core clench with just one look, and made her feel whole. She was in love with this woman in front of her, and she would make sure that she proved it to her. Her wolf pawed at her chest, ready to get out to mingle with Meadow’s wolf.

“I want to be with you,” she murmured, gazing deep into Meadow’s eyes. “I told you that I want everyone to know that you belong to me. These lips belong to me.” She leaned in and pressed her lips to Meadow’s in a slow, deep kiss. She gripped the back of Meadow’s head as she angled her head to deepen the kiss. Her tongue swept inside of Meadow’s mouth, tasting her mate. She pulled back and placed a smaller kiss on Meadow’s lips.

Meadow’s eyes slowly opened as Sage ran her finger down her neck toward her perky breasts. Her hands gripped Meadow’s large mounds.

“Sage,” Meadow gasped, her breath coming fast.

“These beautiful breasts belong in my mouth,” Sage whispered. Meadow’s body leaned into hers as she wrapped her arms around her. Her hands slid down to the supple curve of Meadow’s ass, pulling her against her. Her little whimper caused Sage’s beast to claw at her insides, trying to break free. “So don’t doubt me, Meadow. I want you and I want the whole world to know it.”

Meadow’s hot breath blew on Sage’s neck as she nestled her face against Sage’s.

“I want you too, Sage,” Meadow whispered. Sage knew that they were sliding down the slippery slope of lust. Any more and she’d rip their clothes off and take Meadow right there in the woods. There was no telling who else was walking near them to get to the meeting place. Her wolf was a jealous wolf, and she didn’t want anyone to see Meadow’s luscious body.

“Not right now, my love,” she whispered, pulling back and away from Meadow.
