ORIENTATION

A visit to the fairly small town of Kutná Hora centers around three main areas: the historical town center, the churches around the Sedlec suburb to the northeast, and three separate train stations lining the eastern edge of town. The cobblestoned center is easily walkable, while taxis or a local tourist shuttle service save time and add convenience for reaching Sedlec or transporting luggage to and from the train stations.

PLANNING YOUR TIME

Kutná Hora is easily doable as a day trip from Prague without accommodation. Spending the night before a day of sightseeing can offer an early start or a more leisurely pace to explore the lesser-known sights without the worry of missing the semi-frequent train service.
