Bus

The Egged bus (www.egged.co.il ) number 960 takes about 3 hours from Jerusalem (NIS65 one-way) and bus number 910 takes about 3.5 hours from Tel Aviv (NIS73 one-way). Both have transfers in Haifa.

Once you are in Nahariya, several Egged bus lines operate throughout town.

Train

The Israel Railways (www.rail.co.il ) train takes about three hours from Jerusalem (NIS65 one-way), and about 90 minutes from Tel Aviv (NIS48 one-way).

Netanya

A seaside resort spot that is known for its oddly 1970s-themed atmosphere and popularity among French visitors, Netanya is not a major destination for Israelis or overseas visitors. However, it is just about equidistant between Haifa and Tel Aviv and offers an alternative for exploring some low-key spots or just relaxing on the beach without the crowds you find in Tel Aviv.
