Chapter 5
Choosing Materials with the Right Energy
If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.
Nikola Tesla
Before making your meditation bead necklace or bracelet, you can carefully choose the types of materials that will best match your intention for the beads. This chapter will help you see how you can relate to your beads based on the frequency they emit and how that very frequency can help you solve real issues in your life. For example, if youâre dealing with depression, you can look in the chakra section to find beads that help bring positive energy.
You will find multiple esoteric remedies for choosing the materials in an intentional way. Everything has energy and interacts with your energy, so the materials you choose can help to direct your energy where you want it to go. This is an invigorating and empowering process that involves looking deep into your soulâs blueprint. You can use the tools of astrology, Ayurveda, and numerology to accentuate and balance your energy in order to help you create the life of your dreams with your meditation beads.
Choosing Crystal Meditation Beads and
Their Healing Properties
You may choose a crystal by color based on how you feel when you hold it or wear it or based on the traditional healing properties of certain colors of crystals. The darker colors are said to be more grounding, while the lighter colors are said to help connect you to your intuition and the spiritual realms. The chakra colors are also linked to certain healing properties including mental and physical attributes. You may use this guide when choosing beads to make your meditation beads with or when choosing a necklace. Sometimes youâre drawn to a certain crystal and later find it was exactly what you needed. Follow your intuition when choosing or use this reference guide.
By Chakra Color
A chakra is one of seven main energy centers or wheels in the body that links to the health of the parts of the body near them. They vibrate at a certain frequency, which can be aided by the frequency of colors that also vibrate at that frequency. Certain emotions tend to get stuck in the same chakras, and we can look to our emotions and our body to find where we need balance.
Blue: The throat chakra resonates with the color blue and in Sanskrit is called Vishuddha. It links to your lymph nodes, thyroid, neck, shoulders, perspiration, jaw, and mouth. When itâs balanced, youâre able to speak and listen in healthy ways. You can say how you feel and express your ideas intuitively. When itâs unbalanced, you may not feel comfortable speaking up or you may muddle your words, lie, or be unable to speak clearly. To open this chakra, wear blue crystals like turquoise, lapis, blue lace agate, or aquamarine.
Gold: The eighth chakra or aura chakra resonates with the color of gold. It is outside of the body and allows you to perceive information and energy from around you.
