So they all huddled ‘round to the very last man, while the bed disclosed his remarkable plan.

In town, mum and dad bought Martin new toys; he ripped the plastic wrap, making loud noise.

When he got home he threw his toys on the ground, not caring at all about what was around.

“Gosh I’m tired,” groaned Martin, as he flopped on the bed, “my hands feel like weights, my shoes feel like lead.”

“They most certainly do,” said the bed with a shout, and flexing its knee threw him high and out.
