Santa Muerte can be petitioned for a wide variety of circumstances. This sample novena is to return an unfaithful lover, which is a common theme of many chaplets dedicated to Santa Muerte. It is to be performed for nine nights.

Obtain a red novena candle. It can be either a plain glass candle or one printed with an image of Santa Muerte. You may anoint the candle with Santa Muerte oil or olive oil, spreading the oil on the outside of the glass in a downward motion.
