Deploying the Reporting Pack

The Quality of Experience (QoE) data can be complicated, but Microsoft has provided a pack of built-in reports to help you understand the data captured. They range from simple usage and trending reports to detailed troubleshooting reports.

They are deployed into a SQL Reporting Services instance, using the Deployment Wizard setup application (shown in Figure 11.4).

Once you select Deploy Monitoring Reports, the Deployment Wizard prompts you for the following information (although it is already completed with the SQL Server information from Topology Builder, as shown in Figure 11.5):

Monitoring server

SQL Server Reporting Services instance

SQL Server account credentials (for use by the SQL Reporting Services)

User group (to provide read-only access to the reports)
