CHAPTER 11

If Lillianna thought she was confused before she had another thing coming. What on earth was happening? He let Paul go but kept her? How did that make any sense? She was not sure what AJ was planning. Why keep her?

Paul left... Just like that. He didn’t even try to see her... Nothing... It was like he gave up on her. Totally gave up on her.

The resentment that Lillianna felt for AJ right now was beyond words. She was so angry with him. How could he fuck her life up this way and continue to do so.

That smack her he gave her because she wasn’t in the bed... He was a madman. He didn’t care who was around or who witnessed his abuse. The entire time that Lillianna had been here she had never ever seen AJ strike any of the women. Never. She had seen Tristan hit Callie once and that was a shock if ever.

But AJ... AJ never ever laid a hand on any of the women. She just didn’t get how he was okay to hurt her this way. Only her... Only ever her. He would yell at her, snap at her, treat her like a dog...

She understood it was purely to punish Paul but the thing was... Paul was free now. As happy as she was for her brother she was just as confused as to why she had to remain.

AJ was proving to be deadly. Every sense of the world deadly. She was truly afraid of him. He scared her so much. The way he touched her, the way he looked at her. The dark way he took liberties with her. He was strange to say the least.

This whole master business was very confronting. She hated it that he made her repeat it every fucking day. He was etching it in her mind... Much like he etched his initials on her skin. He was a fucking maniac... That’s all she was learning from being around him.

Lillianna was actually surprised that he had left the room without hurting her. She had no idea why he was so triggered. What did she ever do to him? If anything at all, all she was doing was whatever he wanted. That was it.

Nothing seemed to please him, nothing she did anyway.

He was still fucking the other girls and she was still waiting on him like an obedient servant. It was hopeless. Everything about her situation with AJ was bloody hopeless.

All that really mattered was Paul was free. She was relieved... She prayed her brother never returned and sought to be a part of the Fortes’ clan.

Lillianna thankfully did not see AJ again that day. She was called down for dinner and was surprised when he wasn’t there. “You okay?” Tristan asked her. She nodded her head and forced a smile. “Why was he pissed?”

“I don’t know.” She didn’t know. She knew nothing.

“He set Paul free... Did you know?” Lillianna nodded her head.

“Yeah...”

“That’s a good thing...”

“I know.” She did know that.
