The Power to Have It All
The power to have it all arises from the actions we take toward our end results—actions that will predispose us to life’s magic. But based on what I’ve already shared, the actions you have to take are very simple—baby steps, really. You don’t even have to move in the correct direction as long as you’re doing your best to move in the direction that seems correct (or as close to correct as you can, however uncertain you may feel). Even moving in the “wrong” direction at least puts you within reach of guidance; and then through serendipities, new friends, and observations, you’ll be gently coaxed into making a legal U-turn.
So in this chapter, rather than calling upon you to take action to harness “the power to have it all,” I’m going to throw a curve ball by suggesting that it’s the perspectives you hold on your life and dreams that will automatically influence the actions you take. This means that the key to putting yourself into full-power mode, throwing yourself into the direction of your dreams (step two in the mechanics of manifestation), comes from getting a handle on or changing your present outlook and worldview, which is comparatively far easier than the old-fashioned ways of forcing yourself to work harder and wiser.
Taking action, most typically, is automatic. We don’t have to think about everything we do before we do it; we actually go through most of our daily lives guided by habit and routine. Yet by establishing a new point of view that’s in alignment with our end results, one that implies “we’ve arrived” rather than implying “wouldn’t it be nice,” our day-to-day actions automatically begin to change, literally predisposing us to life’s magic—the so-called accidents and coincidences.
A NOTE FROM THE UNIVERSE
Be there. Go there now and never leave. Imagine that your dreams have already come true. Live your life from that mind-set. Predicate your behavior on that reality, not the illusions that now surround you. Filter every thought, question, and answer from there. Let your focus shift and be born again—because dwelling from, not upon, the space you wish to inherit is the fastest way to change absolutely everything.
See the difference? The Universe
The Mansion of Your Wildest Dreams
There is a vast difference between dwelling from and dwelling upon the life you wish to lead. It’s the difference between acting as if you’re already at your end result, living your life from that viewpoint (to the degree that you can), rather than gazing upon it wistfully from afar with a perspective of “have not.” It closes the gap and presumes success: you’ve already arrived.
Dwelling from is your ticket. Dwelling from can be likened to (and you can do this today) creating in your mind’s eye the “mansion” of your wildest dreams—a mansion that’s not just your home but a symbol for the full-blown life of your dreams. From this day forward, metaphorically, you are to gaze through its windows at the world outside, letting this view shape your behavior with regard to anything and everyone.
