FLAME

A ball of flame is shaped like a raindrop. It surrounds the hand, which connotes magic in that it shows that she cannot be burned by the fire she creates. You should be able to see the hand through the flames; don’t obscure the hand with the flame—fire is translucent.

STREAMS OF MAGIC
