Chapter 3

Good and warmed up

After that first intense night out on the street Amanda had gone home and not been able to sleep well. In the days that followed, she found her mind wandering frequently. It was hard to focus at work and she was not getting much done all she could think about was Kelli and what they had done together. It was a shock to the senses and system to think that she had never felt that intense attraction and arousal with a man but she felt it with Kelli. So was it any wonder that 5 days after they had first encountered one another she jumped when she answered her phone at home and found Kelli on the other line.

“How are you doing Amanda?” came that slightly husky voice.

Amanda didn't reply at first and she felt dumb for it, finally she let out a strained laugh, “Thinking about you all the time if I am honest.” she paused then thinking of something, “I didn't give you my number.”

“I got it from Vicki, so you have been thinking about me do you want me to come over and take care of some of those problems?”

That little bit of panic in her wanted to say no but honesty and desire had Amanda saying, “Yes, I would like that a lot” and giving Kelli her address.

After she hung up Amanda did what could often be called as the typical flight of the bumble bee's around her apartment to make sure that it was clean. Of course, this meant a lot of clothing and other random items got shoved into a closet or under the bed and dishes were hastily shoved into the dishwasher. Once she was satisfied that her apartment looked okay, she turned to herself. A little spritz of secret escape her favorite body mist from Victoria secret and a change to a cute tank top and flowy skirt had her happy enough with her appearance and not a moment too soon, her door bell went.

Amanda opened the door and smiled, finding Kelli there with a bottle of wine, a tank top similar to hers and some nice yoga pants. Amanda couldn't help but notice how well it set off the toned, lean muscles that Kelli had on her body. “Come on in. ” she offered without really needing to clearly she wanted Kelli to come in. The other woman chuckled a bit and stepped across the threshold, looking around like you always did when first entering into someones house.

“This is a nice place you have here.” Kelli said as she handed the bottle of wine over.

Amanda smiled and went to open the wine and pour two glasses, “Thank you it isn't much, but it is home and I am happy with it.” once the two glasses were filled she brought them over and the pair of them settled on the couch. Amanda felt a little tense a little apprehensive as she drank her wine, but Kelli was fully content in her own skin and happy to lounge and chat contently while they drank the bottle of wine.
