Love and Social Life

The love and social life is very important this year. First of all, your 7th house will become powerful from March 23 to July 1, and then again from December 18 onwards. But even more important than that is your love planet Uranus’s position on the Mid-heaven of your chart. The Mid-heaven – the top of the chart – is the most powerful place for a planet to be. Just as the Sun is most powerful at noon (its Mid-heaven point) so too are the other planets most powerful here. Add to this the dominance of the Western, social sector and we see a year where the social grace and gifts are very much accentuated. It is a year for focusing on others. There will be times, as the year progresses, where the Eastern sector of self gets stronger, but it will never dominate.

The love planet on the Mid-heaven shows that power and prestige are important allurements in love – perhaps more so than the usual ones. You gravitate to powerful people, to people above you in status, to those who can help you get to where you want to go. You are meeting these kinds of people too.

Often this indicates romantic opportunities with bosses and superiors. It favours the office romance. (Your work planet, Saturn, moves into your 7th house of love between March 23 and July 1, and again from December 18 onwards, and this too favours the office romance.) Many companies have rules about this, and there are other scenarios indicated too. Bosses, superiors or co-workers can play Cupid in your love life, make proper introductions, etc. They seem very involved in romance one way or another.

Your love planet is in conservative Taurus all year. Saturn is also a conservative planet. Thus you seem more cautious in love these days (very different from the way you were from 2012 to 2019). This I read as a good thing. In the past you were too quick here. A sense of caution is a good thing.

Jupiter’s move into your 7th house at the end of the year is often a signal for a marriage or serious relationship (a relationship that is like marriage). This would be more likely next year than in 2020. But even so, it is not wise to rush into anything. Saturn will also be in your 7th house and he tends to delay things.

On an overall level your best love and social periods will be from January 1 to January 20; April 20 to May 20; August 23 to September 22; and December 22 to the end of the year.

For those working on their second marriage there is romance after June 28, but it seems very challenging. Things will get easier from December 18 onwards. Those working on their third marriage have a quiet, stable kind of year.
