Step 9: The next screen on the Import Wizard allows you to indicate what type of information the Excel file includes. Check the Resources box as well as the Import includes headers. Select Next.

Step 10: The next screen on the Import Wizard maps the actual Excel workbook columns to Project fields for the RESOURCES.

Select the Source Worksheet name from the drop-down list.

For each column in the Excel worksheet, select a column name from the drop-down list in the first column of the Resource mapping dialog box. Then select a Microsoft Project Field from the drop-down list.
