Negative of âverb to beâ
We use the word âmin menâ in front of the âverb to beâ to form a negative statement.
Subject + min men + chea/chea + noun + te
Examples:
We are not students
Yeung min men chea niseth te.
(students = niseth)
Even though the verb to be is not included with an adjective, the word âminâ and âteâ can be used before an adjective to form a negative sentence.
