Watching Ryker’s fingers fly across the keyboard, I know I should be taking notes. I really should. But all I can do is study the side of his face as he rambles on about algorithms and pixels. Did he see us? See me giving Lane a blow job? I don’t think so.

“There. Everything should be good to go.” Ryker hops up from the rolling chair, giving me back my seat with that smile that’s loved by millions. I almost find it funny; the only thing it inspires is my gratitude for dealing with the social media merger.

“Thanks, Ryker.”

“No problem.” He moves to the front of the counter and stops. “How are you liking it here? I know it’s full of heathens.” There’s a twinkle in his eye that could bring most women to their knees. I wonder how any of these brothers plan to meet women when I’m the only one at the lodge. Though it’s tempting to play matchmaker, I push away the impulse. It’s way too soon for that.

“Place is definitely growing on me.”

“Lane treating you all right?” His tone seems harmless enough, but I can’t quite tell if there’s concern or a light ribbing behind it. Maybe he does know what he walked in on.

“Yes, he is.” Lane’s treating me more than all right. My pussy tingles at the memory of just how all right. “He’s a good boss. I’ve worked a lot of places where I couldn’t say the same.” Of course, Lane’s the first boss I’ve ever fooled around with. But I leave that part out.

“Good.” Ryker taps the counter and struts off down the hall as his brother pops inside.

“What was that about?” Lane asks, his gaze following Ryker. He leans on the counter, a hint of cologne drifting toward me. It makes me wonder if he finished that shower. But that’s ridiculous. The tile wasn’t even laid. He must’ve snuck one another way.

“Facebook page, Instagram page, Twitter account, and website are all linked to Ryker’s social media accounts. That way some of his posts will appear on the lodge’s feed. Help with exposure and hopefully lead to more bookings.”

Lane pushes off the counter and saunters around it. “You’re really something, Kiera. I don’t know how the hell we got so lucky.” His strong, warm hands drop onto my shoulders, digging into my aching muscles. “I think you need a day off.”

“Who’s going to scrub the toilets and answer the phones?” I tease.

“Dylan. He’s pissing me off the most today.” Lane massages my shoulders and neck a few minutes more, threatening to turn me into a moaning pile of goo. I want those hands all over my body. I’m going to spontaneously combust if I don’t get to have sex with him soon. It’s all I can think about.

“I’m all caught up right now,” I say when Lane’s fingers slip away. “Anything else you need me to do?”

He scans the lobby, and I follow his gaze. Our only sets of guests are both gone on outdoor adventures, neither expected back for another hour or more.
