Nope. I got a shiny ceramic bowl.

we dined on crispy yam latkes with chunky

applesauce.

When it was time to open presents, Grandma

got a soft, ruffly apron. I was sure I’d get a

soft, fluffy rabbit!

I did get something fluffy but it wasn’t a rabbit.

It was a fluffy white sweatshirt.

candles. My grandpa said the blessing. Then

we feasted on coconut latkes with yummy

veggie salsa.

When it was time to open presents,

Grandma got a thick heavy cookbook. Maybe

I’d get a sturdy guinea pig!
