I almost fell over after I heard Kimori’s last statement. I know there was no way in hell she was telling me she gave birth to my child and didn’t tell me. Nope there was no way that’s what she was saying. I must have heard her wrong.

“So are you trying to tell me you gave birth to my child and didn’t tell me? I asked.

“Yes Juelz, that’s what I’m saying. Please don’t hate me. I was still healing from the rape and had all these bad feelings towards you. I didn’t know what to do” she said

I didn’t want to hear any of that bullshit she was talking. She had the nerve to give birth to my child and then wait four months to tell me about it. I’m glad she wasn’t in my face because God only knows what I would have done.

“That’s bullshit Kimori. You should have called me. That is really fucked up and I thought you were better than that. I don’t give a damn how you felt about me, you should have called me. Is it even my child?”

That last part came out before I knew it. Had I been thinking straight I wouldn’t have said it.

“Is it your baby? Are you kidding me Juelz?? I never cheated on you and you know it. I’ve been by your side since day one. Yes I’m wrong for not telling you, but for you to ask if you’re the father is just wrong. You know what, give me a few days and I will come to Atlanta and we can do a DNA test. After you find out this is your child, we will setup some type of visitation but other than that, I’m done with you.” She said before hanging up.

Deep down inside I knew that wasn’t the way to handle that situation. Kimori was not that type of person. Besides, it’s not like we ever used protection when we had sex so her being pregnant wasn’t impossible.

I didn’t know if I should be mad or jump for joy. I was somebody’s father. I was pacing back and forth around the house. I had to get out and go somewhere and talk to somebody. I tried to call Kimori back and talk to her but she wouldn’t answer. I really couldn’t blame her after the things I said to her.

I ended up leaving my house and going to Mama Douglas’s house. I knew she would be the one person to help me make some since of this shit. Once I got there, she and Tiana were sitting there talking. They both spoke to me but I didn’t say anything back. I immediately directed my anger towards Tiana.

“So did you know about the baby?” I asked.

“What are you talking about Juelz? What baby?” she replied.

“Oh so you gonna play stupid today. You know what the fuck I’m talking about. You and Kimori are like sisters, but I’m your blood. You should have fucking told me.” I yelled.
