A baseball coach needed his star player for a game and told him in the locker room he had failed his math test, but the school principal allowed the coach to give his star player a math test before the game and if he passed, the star player could play.

The coach asked him in front of the rest of the team. “Okay, are you ready? Now please concentrate very hard! How much is 2 + 2?”

The star player thought and thought and finally after scratching his head a few times he said, “Four?”

The coach jumped up and said, “Did you say four?”

The rest of the team jumped up and said, “C’mon coach. Give him another chance!”
