5. When the clay has cured, remove it from the mold. File down any high areas from the edges using drywall screen. To do this, first place a disposable wipe on the table, then set the drywall screen on top of the wipe. Drag the cured clay edges over the screen and the dust will be captured in the wipe.

6. Place the cured clay piece on the back of the resin piece so that both textured surfaces are facing out and the photo is between the two. Clip with binder clips. Then, make a snake of mixed clay (about the size of four peas) and press the clay into the gaps along the sides, and between the front and back pieces. Smooth the clay with a drop of water on your finger. (Rubbing your finger back and forth really helps to get the clay down into the gaps. You can also use the tip of a clay shaper dipped in water to get into the areas where your finger can't reach.)
