PART TWO

Buck wakes up and stretches, what time could it be, he thought? Buck’s wall clock showed 9:00 a.m. Buck jumped out of bed, rushed over to his window, throws back his curtain and looks outside. He sees some of his neighbors relaxing in their lawn chairs reading their newspapers and others laughing and talking. There were children playing ball, jumping rope, all just enjoying the sun shine. I don’t hear Grandma, she is probably still sleeping. She did take her two sleeping pills again.
