Top 5 Criteria
Criteria: 1.
Parent Niche Products:
The Top Five Niches need to be both wide enough to matter, but small enough to carve out several sub-niches.
Letâs face it, some things are popular and sell like hot cakes. They also have multiple categories, segments, genres and - well âNICHESâ where you can create a multitude of Child Products within the main Parent Niche. Which the market will see, believe and understand their real value of. While other products and services are considered still very popular, yet only serve one purpose to the masses, and/or only a few who âqualifyâ may reap in the monetary rewards.
As an Example, #1: [ Parent Product ] = Milk: People all over the world either love to drink milk, want to drink milk, or just drink milk because itâs on the table. But unless your granddaddyâs, granddaddy owned a dairy farm and left it to you as a gift, chances are that this MILK business is not a viable Niche Product Option for you, nor for-you to try and break into and then create your million-dollar info product business online.
Reason: 1. People donât normally buy milk online, they like to see it and feel it and âsmellâ it first. Letâs face it â once you have a bad dairy experience, you never want to take a chance on it being stale again â Right? Besides; they usually buy milk from their favorite or most convenient grocery store.
Reason: 2. Milk just isnât that sexy . It doesnât create the absolute need, trigger mass emotional urgency, appeal or bring pleasure from pain. Moreover, just about everyone can live without it.
Secondly and as our Example # 2: [ Parent Product ] = Music: Good stuff, right? People love, want, listen, and buy music 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. So, as you undoubtedly know, it is very popular. However unless you are a musician with a hit CD, you are bound to get buried in the market before you get started because more than likely you will not have enough resources, talent, or leverage to gain market share quick enough to create a sustainable business online . Also, because you will be crushed by the current Top 40 and the previous 60 years of top 40 artists before todayâs time.
Exceptions: You could rightfully create an information product on âHow Toâ write a song, find your muse, mix a CD or otherwise, and if itâs your passion to do so, who are we to stop you. The message here is that unless you are extremely passionate about a subject, donât go into business just because it is popular, people like it, and âsoundsâ good. Especially when it is as popular or as saturated as music. A successful Million Dollar Info Niche Product must be fall into specific criteria in order to sustain long term viability.
