You might wonder how a foundational mind could form matter’s geometric forms. Here is one idea: the foundational mind has the same kind of power you have to form images in your own mind. When you close your eyes, you can see faint images. With some effort, you can cause these images to take certain forms. For example, you may be able to cause an image of a purplish box to appear in your mind. This image arises within the canvas of your imagination.

While your canvas is private to you, my hypothesis is that the foundational mind’s canvas is public. This mind forms material objects with its power of imagination. In this way, the ultimate mind causes material objects to appear—rationally and orderly—on the public canvas we call “the universe.”

I call this theory “The Imagination Theory” because it explains material forms in terms of the imagination of the foundation. The Imagination Theory is just one hypothesis. Take it or leave it.
