Aaron was so angry when he was left like that for an entire day. But what was leaving him alone like an exposed sex-toy compared to whatever torture that had happened and was still in store, right? Vincent came back hours later, and took him off the X, just when Aaron thought he was about to crash. When he was finally given the drugs later that night, he slept like a damn baby. Slept, after being strung up against the X with that dildo deep in his ass all day.

Training resumed the very next day. He was even getting used to the collar and cuffs. But he couldn’t possibly get used to the various types of beatings. Even as never-ending training continued and he was still being tied down and beaten, something had changed. He was still going through the same emotions every time: anger, frustration, fear and pleasure. But it scared him a little less every day, because none of it was as brutal as what had happened before.

Vincent was different with him now.

Vincent entered the room and Aaron had just come out of the shower. He tossed some clothes at him and told him to get dressed so Aaron did it, quietly. But all the while his mind kept thinking, wondering what was on the training itinerary for today. When he was done dressing up, Vincent secured his hands behind his back, locking the wrist-cuffs.

“Where are we going?” he asked when he realized Vincent was taking him outside. He should have guessed it was going to be a different day when Vincent had asked him to put on clothes for a change.

“Relax,” Vincent said, leading him outside into the hallway. He led Aaron to a new room, only a few doors down. Vincent knocked and the door opened almost immediately. His fingers pressed on Aaron’s arm. “Get inside.”

Aaron stepped into the room and heard the door close behind him with a familiar click. When he caught a glimpse of the faces of the men in the room he panicked and started to back away but Vincent’s grip held him in place.

“Stay.”

There was a cold finality in his command even though Vincent articulated it in a low voice.

Stay?

And yet he wasn’t moving, was he?

They were the same three who had raped him in his old room not so long ago. He hadn’t forgotten. Never would. Because regardless of everything that had happened here, the one thing that had truly broken him, truly tested his endurance was what those three had done to him. He remembered the way he had felt picking up that knife to end his own life. Remembered feeling so helpless and desperate for escape because of them, that even killing himself seemed less torturous. It had seemed the only way out if he wanted to escape from them. For a minute he couldn’t think straight and flashes of that day, being tortured by them, kept fogging up his memory.

“Vince—”

“They’re not going to hurt you,” Vincent said gently.
