Kale
Kale is a member of the cabbage family with vitamins A, C, B6, and K. It also has magnesium, copper, protein, potassium, beta carotene, and antioxidants. Kale is known to be a very nutri-dense food. Due to many of the properties in kale, this vegetable is known to aid in lowering blood pressure, reducing high cholesterol, and helping with eye health.
You can add kale to your diet by eating it as a salad, adding it to your smoothies, adding it as an ingredient in fresh juice, or cooking it with other vegetables such as collard greens and cabbage.49
