HEALING POPPET

PURPOSE OF SPELL: This spell uses the power of poppets (small dolls or trinkets that represent another person) to send caring, healing vibes to friends and family afflicted with illness.

SUGGESTED TIMING:

New moon

ITEMS NEEDED:

• Lighter

• Poppet

• Bowl large enough to fit the poppet

MAGICKAL INGREDIENTS:

• 1 tablespoon dried sage or a dried sage bundle

• 1 cup lavender

• ¼ teaspoon black pepper

• Rose quartz crystals

• Sodalite crystals

• Fluorite crystals

• 3 drops tea tree oil

SPELLWORK

✦ Light the sage and let it smoke. Pass the poppet through the smoke to cleanse it of any unwanted energies that may interfere with the spell.

✦ Next, anoint the poppet with three drops of tea tree oil, speaking the name of the person you mean to heal as you work.

✦ Mix the lavender and black pepper in the bowl. Gently lay the poppet in the bowl, and seal the poppet to the bowl of healing magick with a kiss.

✦ Surround the poppet with rose quartz, sodalite, and fluorite crystals.

✦ Keep the resting poppet bowl in a comfortable location in your home. Consider placing the poppet on your dresser, among house plants, near a sunny window, or on your mantel.

✦ Care for the poppet daily by whispering healing messages and words of love to it. Continue this healing magick every day until the night of the full moon, when the spell will be complete.
