Holy Shit! Where did you meet Jace Calvin?

I have a confession; I’m in LA.

Thirty seconds later, my phone rang with a call from Greg. “You’re here?”

“I am. I was going to surprise you, but when I heard that I was going to meet Jace Calvin, I couldn’t resist.”

“Where are you?”

“At the Parliament Productions office in midtown. Mr. Anderson has a meeting with Jace.”

“Shit, I wish I could meet him.”

Jace was watching me and gestured for the phone. I handed it to him, and he had a brief conversation with Greg. He smiled when he handed the phone back to me.

“We’re having dinner at Archipelago tonight,” Jace said.

“Huh?” was all I could ask.

“Talk to your man.”

Dumbstruck, I held the phone to my ear. “Greg?”

“Freaking Jace Calvin is taking us to dinner at Archipelago!” he shouted.

“What’s Archipelago?”

“A restaurant. It’s expensive and exclusive.”

We made plans to meet at the restaurant at seven. Molly was going to see if Gary could come, but it was a four-hour drive from Yuma. I hung up with Greg after I went to the corner of the office to tell him how much I missed him.

“All right, girls, let me have my meeting with Jace,” Bob said.

Jace hugged us both and said he would pick us up later in a limo at Parliament. We told him that wasn’t necessary, but he insisted. We would also be eating with the other three members of The Shock.
