Unless you're a member of an isolated tribe deep in the Amazon forest, as you age, your arteries will harden from the accumulated assaults of even low levels of these substances. This loss of elasticity naturally effects erectile function. The healthiest member of Western industrialized society, just from living, breathing our air, drinking our water and participating in our stressful lifestyle, will lose some of his potency as years progress. There is no evolutionary protection against this. We're not supposed to live into our sixties, seventies, and beyond, and we're certainly not supposed to be sexually active as long as we'd like to be.

When we overdose on inflammatory foods and drinks, and expose ourselves to systemic irritants and we do so over long periods of time we affect our bodies in ways that often lead us to the emergency room. Our bodies send us messages that we should not ignore, including the allegorical truck, boat, and helicopter.

ED is the unnecessary shutdown of an entire bodily function—reproduction—that is not a natural lifecycle change in men as menopause is for women (which does not necessarily impact sexuality in the ladies).

ED is a dysfunction that renders you incapable of one of life's most divine pleasures.
