Turn your incubator on between 24 and 48 hours prior to inserting your eggs and add the recommended amount of water. This is to ensure that your incubator is the proper temperature and humidity before you introduce your fertilized eggs into the environment.

Insert the eggs into the incubator with the narrow side down. Close the door.

Turn your eggs a minimum of three times a day for the first 18 days. This ensures the egg does not stick to the inside of the shell and will help ensure that the fertilized egg turns into a baby chick.
