Lisa pulls her bikini out of her suitcase and it flops over her hand, looking shockingly skimpy.

‘Should we take turns?’ I ask, lifting one corner as though there might be more hiding beneath.

‘I might be able to wear something else,’ she says, as she rummages through all her other clothes. ‘A t-shirt or something.’

In the end, we settle on wearing half the bikini each—Lisa wears the bikini bottoms with a pale pink shirt, and I wear the bikini top with a pair of panties that Lisa assures me look cute. By the time we make our way downstairs, the guys are already in board shorts and three of them are already in the spa, while another fiddles with the buttons, trying to make the jets work.

Steve notices us and whistles. Lisa saunters across the grass in bare feet, loving the attention, and I can’t help but smile too. Perhaps wearing her clothes has given me some of her confidence?

We climb into the spa. Lisa wedges herself between Tate and Drew and I squeeze between Tate and a sexy bald man who reminds me that his name is Chance.

There’s a mechanical whir and suddenly the whole thing comes to life. The water bubbles and it suddenly feels very cosy. Someone’s opened a bottle of champagne and passes around half-filled flutes, so there’s enough for everyone. Wyatt climbs in too and Tate presses his leg against mine when he moves around to make more space.

‘So what do you ladies do?’ Chance asks, ‘When you’re not travelling and breaking rental cars?’

‘I’m a nursing student,’ I say, ‘and Lisa works in a bank.’

Lisa hears me—she nods and licks champagne off her lip.

‘I bet you’ve both got sexy uniforms then,’ Drew says. ‘It’s a shame you haven’t got them here.’

Wyatt shoves him and Lisa giggles.

‘It’s very sexy,’ she says. ‘There’s a tight shirt and a skirt that’s even tighter.’ She stands up to grab the champagne bottle and the wet shirt clings to her breasts, her rock-hard nipples poking through. I pretend not to notice but they’re so prominent I find my eyes travelling with them. The guys definitely appreciate them too, because a few minutes after Lisa settles back in the spa, Wyatt asks her to fetch one of the towels they’ve stacked outside the door.

‘Of course,’ Lisa says, hauling herself out of the water.

If it were any of my other friends, I might have thought they were completely oblivious to Wyatt’s motivation for encouraging her to get out of the spa, but Lisa knows exactly what he’s doing. There’s a sexy glint in her eye as she turns back to glance at the guys, making sure they’re still watching as she bends over to pick up a towel. The bikini stretches across her ass as the fabric slips a little, bunching between her cheeks as she stands up.

‘Here you go,’ she says, handing the towel to Wyatt, who smiles like he’s been undressing her with his eyes the whole time.

I’m overly conscious on the legs either side of me, pressing against my thighs, as more guys squeeze into the spa.
