The photon bead theory has a different explanation to the conundrum of electromagnetic attraction and repulsion. Figure 9.2 shows how it might work.

It will be shown below that in the photon bead theory, the electromagnetic charge is directly caused by the particle being orbited by a single photon bead, which itself is spinning. This will create a field that will be in a wave form and that will also spin. When two of these wave forms with the same wavelengths come together they will behave exactly like two rotating gears. If the fields are contra-rotating, they will mesh and the two host particles will attract each other. If, however, the two fields are both rotating the same way they will clash like a crashing pair of gears and the collision will throw the two host particles apart. Remember, in the photon bead theory, fields are carried through real mass even if we cannot observe it. The same thing will happen if the wave forms are in harmony, that is they fit exactly together within the wavelength. For two fields in wave form to be either attracted to each other or repelled by each other, they must either have equal frequencies or be in harmony. If two dissimilar fields are brought together in close proximity, they will behave exactly as if they are dissimilar gear wheels, they will simply slip over each other and no interaction will happen (Figure 9.3). These structures will not be attracted to any dissimilar structure other than by gravity. Your pen will not, for instance, adhere to your desk.
