From a purely logical point of view it should be self-evident that nothing comes from nothing. In other words, it is illogical to believe that something could come from nothing. Yet, this is precisely what philosophical naturalism—the worldview undergirding evolutionism—presupposes. This is analogous to the nineteenth-century concept of spontaneous generation, the false belief that life forms could arise directly from non-living substances such as beer or sweaty clothes that were left undisturbed for several days.

In an age of scientific enlightenment we should know better than to believe in the evolutionary dogma that presupposes something comes from nothing. To hold to the law of energy conservation is to jettison impossible constructs for the infallible canon, which clearly communicates that since God finished the work of creating (Gen. 2:1–3), He has been sustaining (conserving) all things by His power (Heb. 1:3).
