• Become kids again and get time to have some fun with your mate or your spouse, avoid taking yourselves too seriously and remain childish.
• Avoid blaming your partner for your unhappiness or problems and try to be responsible for your own happiness. Never let your partner get annoyed for anything. Always think twice about the things before fighting with your partner. Fights would surely bring bitterness in your relation and the chances would be more of separation. Try to resolve the things without arguing with your partner. This is the best method that every second couple uses to avoid any differences between them. Even during a rough patch do something nice for your other half. Constant arguing or cold shouldering about a controversial issue will most likely just drive you apart.
• If you feel like your partner does not do nice things for you or does not compliment often any more, helping you feel closer to each other a thoughtful wave can go a long way, making it that much more possible that you will work through your problems.
• Always try to see on the brighter side, try to be as optimistic and positive as you can ever be. A partner's optimistic attitude leads to a more satisfying relationship and positive behaviors. “Happiness and Relationship” will go hand-in-hand for you.
• Don’t ever put too much of responsibility on your partner. If you both are working for five days a week, try to get time from your busy schedule for your partner or even talk to your mate for minimum of 10 minutes a day and share your feelings or thoughts with each other and try to accept the suggestions. This way, your partner would feel importance in his/her life.
• Just because you got into a relationship does not mean that you stop being sensitive and polite. Remember to strive to be your best every single day. Don't stop listening and start acting like a lazy bum or being a slob. Don't ever stop, treating your partner like the special person he/she really is.
• Give serious issues or big problems appropriate time to heal. Relationship is based on trust so always give your mate the benefit of any doubts. Don’t ever take things for granted that your partner is doing things just to irritate you. It may be possible that your partner does not realize about the things that irate you the most and give your mate the necessary time to adjust with your likes and dislikes. Just talk to your mate about your likes and dislikes and whenever your mate does anything wrong, just tell him/her that what went wrong and what could have been done better.
