And Steve tramped away, exasperated, and Ennui lay there, with his eyes half-closed, thinking, “This tourism business is really overrated ... things haven’t worked out as I thought they would... as a tourist magnet I’m just no good.”

And Ennui crunched down further in the mud, telling himself he was a total failure and a hopeless dud.
