FEAR CAN DISAPPEAR

Fear is an overpowering emotion that can stop you in your tracks. Many fears seem irrational, but they are often the result of past life traumas. For example, if you were a pilot shot down in a fighter plane, you might be terrified of plane flights. If you were branded a witch and burnt at the stake, you may be afraid to reveal your psychic abilities. If you were pushed off a cliff, you might be scared of heights. This meditation can help you heal fears by accessing past life traumas. Please read the words onto your device in a soft, slow, soothing voice. Then play back the recording at a low volume:

Please sit comfortably now and close your eyes. Keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them. Let us take a big deep breath of divine love. Breathe in . . . And breathe out . . . Let us take a big deep breath of inner peace. Breathe in . . . And out . . . Let us take a big deep breath of relaxation. Breathe in . . . Breathe out . . . Then breathe normally.

Now think about a fear that has been disturbing you. Think about the last time you were in that fearful situation. Remember everything you can about that time and place. Put yourself in that scenario and experience it as vividly as possible. Engage all of your senses. Where are you? . . . What time of day is it? . . . What are you seeing? . . . What are you hearing? . . . What is the weather? . . . What does it feel like? . . . What does it smell like? . . .

Think about how afraid you are. Imagine that being in this situation can cause you great peril. As you put yourself there, think how much this situation terrifies you. Connect with that feeling of fear, and increase the intensity of that feeling. Imagine how scared you are, and double the feeling of fear . . . Then double that fear again . . . Continue to increase the fear until you feel the maximum you possibly can . . . [Record 10 seconds of silence here.] Now remember the first time you ever had this fear in a past life . . . [Record 30 seconds of silence here.]

Now look around you. Where are you? . . . Look down at your clothing . . . Are you male or female? . . . What are you wearing? . . . What time of day is it? . . . What are you seeing? . . . What are you hearing? . . . What is the weather? . . . What does it feel like? . . . What does it smell like? . . . Now ask Spirit to play a little movie in your inner eye where you experience what happened in this past life situation.
