Apple Spice Cake

1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling

1 package (about 15 ounces) spice cake mix

3 eggs

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar

Glaze (recipe follows, optional)

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 12-cup (10-inch) bundt pan.

2.Place apple pie filling in large bowl. Cut apples into 1/4-inch pieces with paring knife or scissors. Add cake mix, eggs and cinnamon; beat with electric mixer at medium speed 2 minutes or until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.

3.Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan 1 hour; invert onto serving plate to cool completely.

4.Prepare Glaze, if desired. Drizzle over cooled cake.

Makes 12 servings

Glaze: Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 11/2 teaspoons milk and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla in small bowl; whisk until smooth.
